About the Role
Due to continued growth, CANETEC now has an opportunity for a Hydraulic Technician to join their expert assembly team in Bundaberg, QLD on a full-time ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will see the successful candidate responsible for the fitting of hydraulic systems to sugarcane harvesters.
More specifically, the day-to-day duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Installing hydraulic pumps;
- Reading and interpreting detailed circuit drawings;
- Installing hydraulic hoses;
- Testing circuits after installations;
- Dismantling of hydraulic cylinders and replacing the seals;
- General fitting work as required; and
- Potential field work as role scope increases.
Please Note: This is a Monday to Friday position, working 6am-2:30pm Monday-Thursday, with an early finish, 6am-12pm on a Friday.
About You
To be successful within this role, you must be a trade qualified hydraulic fitter/mechanic with demonstrated working experience.
You will have a strong knowledge and ability to interpret engineering hydraulics drawings, as well as an understanding of the relevant hydraulic pressures.
Able to handle the physical aspects of the role and work both within a team and autonomously, you will be confident in your ability to identify issues and find solutions, offering suggestions for process improvement and innovative ideas where relevant.
